Color of the Week: Columbia River Remix
This yarn is called Columbia River Remix. One of my first colorways was called Columbia River. It had sections of blue, green, and brown. I thought it would be fun to blend the colors together and I was so happy the result, which feels just like visiting the Columbia River.

Color of the Week: Seattle Sky
This yarn is called Seattle Sky. It may be grey in Seattle, but when the sun comes out the sky is a beautiful aquamarine that is appreciated more because of its rarity.

Shaniko Shawl Knitting Pattern
Sarah Keller, owner of Knot Another Hat in Hood River, Oregon, originally released this pattern to go with the special colorways I designed for a special Shaniko/Cashmere Fingering yarn I dyed exclusively for her club. Now it is available to everyone.

Color of the Week: Apple Blossom
This yarn is called Apple Blossom. I was inspired by the bold pinks and greens of early spring.

New! Clear Creek Farms Tapestry Classes
I am teaching 3 workshops on tapestry at Clear Creek Farms here in Duvall, WA.

Color of the Week: Sunshine
This yarn is named Sunshine. Cheerful spring sunshine followed by gloriously sunny summer days. I bottled it all up in this yarn, so you can make beautiful sunshiny things year round.

Seaside Lace Shawls
One of my best customers orders a large amount of Seaside Lace Yarn every year to weave special shawls for family, friends, and herself. I was lucky enough to see some of the shawls in person and she let me take photos to share with all of you.

Color of the Week: Cherry Bomb
This yarn is called Cherry Bomb. It is an explosion of hot pink awesomeness. Make sure you are seen with this yarn!

Dumpster Fire Cozies
When I saw that Pacific Knit Co had a free pattern for a Dumpster Fire Cup Cozy, I knew I needed to knit one!

Leafy Bandana Cowl
A great pattern to knit out of Superwash Bulky in Moss is my Leafy Bandana Cowl. It’s quick, lacy, and a whole lot of fun to knit!

Color of the Week: Moss
This yarn is named Moss. I was inspired to dye this yarn from the softly draping moss and lichen on the trees near where I live. I love the subtle changes of color throughout the skein.

Book of the Week: The Bean Book
Each week I like to pick a book that I have picked from my local library and share it with all of you.
One of my favorite things to do is to get recipe books from the library. Sure the photos may be amazing, but what does it actually taste like? I pick a recipe or two that I think represents the whole book and then I try them out. If they are good then I purchase the book.

Color of the Week: Natural
This yarn is called Natural. I love pairing natural with any other handpainted yarn. It automatically makes the color pop.

Welcome!
Welcome!
I’ve been having some deep thoughts about social media and where I want to share my content. Way back when I was just out of college, I had a blog and wrote regular posts. The content was mine and I didn’t have to worry about the social implications of the company hosting my content. So, why not go back to that?
